As with each movement in a symphony, the individual gardens of Butchart Gardens engage the senses at their own pace. The Rose Garden is alive with life, a crescendo of color and fragrance. With over 2,500 roses spread across 30 beds, this garden offers an intoxicating blend of aromatic delight and vibrant hues. Pergolas and archways adorned with climbing roses create an environment that seems plucked from the pages of a fairy tale. Not far from the Rose Garden, the Japanese Garden takes you to the other side of the world. Started in 1929, this garden captures the tranquility and minimalism of traditional Japanese gardens. With meticulously maintained plants, trees, streams, and bridges, it’s a serene oasis that invites contemplation and relaxation.
