In Plaza España, admire the striking architecture of Santa Cruz de La Palma Town Hall before encountering the handsome Santo Domingo Church in the upper town. Travel up the La Palma coast to the incredible mountains of Los Tilos, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve blanketed by the most pristine laurel forest in the Canary Islands. Head south for the stunning volcanic landscapes of southern La Palma. Along the coast, sample rum made at a local distillery after dipping your toes in swimming pools formed by lava flows long ago.
